A leisurely trip along the Amalfi Coast
Take a virtual trip along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and which has been on the World Heritage List since 1997. There is only one road, which cuts through the cliffs, high valleys and steep photogenic flights of steps. It connects the famous towns of Positano, Amalfi, Ravello to name but a few of the many other idyllic spots along this divine coast. Lemon groves carve out the terraced mountains and face out over the deep blue and emerald green waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Historical buildings, picturesque churches, bougainvillea-paths, elegant houses and luxurious hotels along with amazing food and wine culture, make this coastline one of the most famous places in Italy.
I specialized in the art, history and culture of my hometown Naples. I studied modern languages with modern art and I have worked closely with the museums in Naples, the Friends of Museums from Abroad and as an educational consultant and a tour guide for many years. I love writing about my city and have written a guide to Neapolitan art and architecture called Naples in 3 Days and articles about Naples and Campania. My love for Naples art, food and why not….its fabulous craziness means there isn’t a corner of the city I haven’t visited.
