Christmas Markets of Italy - Tour Specifics

Tour Dates: November 30 - December 8, 2025

Cost: The land cost of the tour is $5,680 per person, based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for a supplementary charge of $1,403. Airfare is not included.

Accommodations: 8 nights lodging in carefully restored, historic properties; (2 nights in Verona, 3 nights in Bolzano, 3 nights in Florence.) All rooms have private baths and air conditioning/heating.

NOTE: The purpose of this tour is to allow travelers to feel the magic of Christmas time in Italy! The tour may include fewer local tours than our other tours in favor of providing free time to enjoy the markets and local flavors. Due to the hours of the markets, much of the itinerary may take place in the evening. The itinerary is subject to change without notice based on the opening hours of the 2025 Christmas markets. Also, be prepared for winter weather and snow!

Christmas Markets in: Verona, Bolzano, Lake Garda, Merano, Innsbruck (Austria), Florence, and Siena.

Meals: All breakfasts, plus one full-course meal daily (either lunch or dinner). All meals - after breakfast! - include regional wines. We carefully choose the restaurants based on ambiance and quality of cuisine.

Wine Tastings of various local varieties (including small local producers and famous well-known producers).

Transfers: All ground transportation during the tour including transfer from Verona airport or train station to the tour hotel on tour start date and a group shuttle to Florence Airport on tour end date. Transfers with arrival/departure to other cities will be at an additional cost.

Guided Tours with local authorized expert guides: Verona, Bolzano, Innsbruck, Florence

Admissions: Entrance fees for all planned visits to monuments, galleries, and museums are included.

Small, Intimate Group: We limit the number of participants on this tour to a maximum of 16. We need a minimum of 12 people for a tour to go.

Arrival and Departure: On the tour start date, a transfer is included from the Verona airport or train station to our hotel in Verona. We may group guests together within 60 minutes of arrival time. On the final morning of the tour, group shuttles will be provided to Florence Airport. If you require other transfer services upon arrival or to other destinations after the tour ends, transfers can be arranged through our travel partners for an additional fee.

Early Arrival/ Late Stay Options: Depending on hotel availability you may be able to arrive early or extend your stay. We'll be happy to help you make these arrangements. For trip extensions of 2 nights or less, we provide planning assistance on a complimentary basis. For add-ons of 3-5 nights, there is a nominal planning fee of $150 including booking hotels, guides, drivers, etc.

Tour Exclusions: Airfare; hotel city tax (usually €3-6 per person, per night; payable onsite), on own meals as noted in itinerary, and gratuities for your local guides and tour leaders. Tuscany Tours tips at all group meal restaurants and for all group transfers.

Due to the ancient architecture of hotels renovated from restored palazzos, each hotel room is unique and room sizes may vary.
