The Best of Northern Italy — Tour Specifics:

DATES:  October 8-16, 2024

Cost: The land cost of the tour is $6,210 per person, based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for a supplementary charge of $1,500. Airfare is not included.

Accommodations: 8 nights lodging in elegant, historic hotel properties; (3 nights in Venice, 2 nights in Verona, and 3 nights in Bellagio). All rooms have en suite bathrooms.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the ancient architecture of hotels renovated from restored palazzos, each hotel room is unique and room sizes may vary.

Meals: All breakfasts, one full-course meal daily (either lunch or dinner), additional meals as scheduled. All meals—after breakfast!—include regional wines. We carefully choose the restaurants based on ambiance and quality of cuisine.

Wine Tastings: Scheduled tastings of various Northern Italian wines (including small local producers and famous well known producers).

Transfers: All ground transportation during the tour including water taxi transfer from Venice airport or train station to the tour hotel on tour start date and a scheduled group shuttle from Bellagio to the Milan Airport on tour end date (about 90 minutes) are included.

Guided Tours with local authorized expert guides: Venice, Verona, Soave, Bellagio, Lake Como

Admissions: Entrance fees for all planned visits to monuments, galleries and museums are included.

Small, Intimate Group: We will be limiting the number of participants to a maximum of 16.  We need a minimum of 12 guests for a tour to run.

Arrival and Departure: Upon arrival to the Venice Airport or Venezia Santa Lucia train station, a water taxi transfer to the tour hotel will be included on the tour start date. We will group guests within 90 minutes of their arrival time as much as possible. The tour will end with a group transfer to the Milan-MXP airport on the tour end date. If you require alternate transfer services upon arrival or after the tour, we can arrange private transfers for an additional fee.

Early Arrival/ Late Stay Options: Depending on hotel availability you may be able to arrive early or extend your stay at the tour hotels. We'd be happy to help you make these arrangements. For trip extensions of up to 2 nights, we would be pleased to offer you additional planning assistance on a complimentary basis. For trip extensions of 3-5 nights, there is a nominal $150 planning fee to assist with booking additional hotels, guides, transfers, etc.

Tour Exclusions: Airfare; transfers upon arrival; Accademia admission; hotel city tax (usually €2-5 per person, per night; payable onsite), and gratuities for your local guides, drivers, and tour leaders. Tuscany Tours tips at all group meal restaurants.
