They are efficient, thorough, excellent communicators, and truly create a wonderful experience-time and time again.  No single day is alike. This was our 12th trip with Tuscany Tours. As anticipated it was top notch from the moment you are picked up at the airport until you are dropped off for your flight home. The experiences were superb as were all the local guides.  We loved that Ludovica was our tour leader. She works hard to make the trip memorable. All the guides … were knowledgeable and personable, but Stephanie stood out some from the crowd and was super. She made a great team with the ever-wonderful Ludo. And as always, our fellow travelers were interesting, nice people. We can’t wait to go on our 13th Tuscany Tour.

This was the fifth trip we have taken with Tuscany Tours. It rates in the best two that we have experienced. While the art in Florence is unsurpassed and the Best of Tuscany was an excellent trip, the Best of the Amalfi Coast rivals it for the simple joy of the experience. The highlights of this trip are the natural beauty of the Campania Region, and the kindness and generosity of spirit of its people.

The vistas from the villa in Ravello are unimaginable and incredibly beautiful. Add to this the wonders of Capri and the boat ride around the island including a visit to the Blue Grotto. And the food, oh the food!! The seafood was fresh, tasty and  prepared with simplicity and elegance.  So, we heartily recommend this trip to all who love beauty and like to eat!!

From the welcome drink at the wonderful hotel in Naples through our all too soon farewell dinner, Tuscany Tours provided us with a superb trip to the Amalfi Coast. Tuscany Tours creates the perfect mix of culture, art, history, food, music, and drinks, all led by delightful and knowledgeable guides and tour leaders. A special shoutout to Fede who, as our tour leader, made sure that all ran smoothly from beginning to end. From Naples to Pompeii to Capri, we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. This was our sixth tour with Tuscany Tours and not only are the tours great, but we have always found our fellow travelers to be great companions making for a truly memorable experience. We will surely be booking numbers 7, 8, 9, .......!

In the spring of 2022, we were fortunate to have joined Tuscany Tours on a tour of the Amalfi Coast. Our tour leader was a fabulous organizer and managed the overall tour very well. For each of the specific locations, there was a local expert who joined our group and explained the intricacies of the sights we were enjoying. Tuscany Tours excels in introducing the very most important sights and their significance in the historical development of both Italy and civilization writ large. They also excel in arranging the small and most enjoyable activities and local sights such as the best pizza restaurant in Napoli; the “lemon” restaurant on the isle of Capri; the small winery where we had lunch and wandered through the vineyard with the owner, and the beautiful flowers on Ravello. An amazing experience made richer and more enjoyable by our friends Pam and Sam.

Traveling with Tuscany Tours was wonderful. Their attention to detail to bring the best experience of the Amalfi coast was top notch. The hotels were charming, comfortable and well located. The meals were delicious...fresh and local. The trip was so well organized and planned that it felt effortless for Gary and me.

We do believe that much of the credit is due to Pam and Jamie. Jamie was especially attentive, accommodating and helpful.  We appreciated that she shared her knowledge of the regions wine and olive oil. Pam and Jamie were a lot of fun too! They immediately helped us feel comfortable with them and everyone on the tour.

The trip to the Amalfi Coast with Tuscany Tours will surround you with the sights and life of a unique part of Italy. From the sea, to mountain vineyards...there is so much to absorb. We loved this trip!! As always, staying in either boutique hotels, or unique locations, has always been a positive. Choices of restaurants, and food...outstanding as usual. The highlights of this particular trip were the chair lift ride, the cooking school, and the trip to the San Francesco Winery/meeting one of the owners. All of these were such fun!!!!

I just wanted to let you know once again how much we enjoyed our Amalfi Coast experience.   Just as our trip with you to Tuscany 5 years ago, it was the perfect blend of structured time with wonderful guides, personal time, not to mention the charming hotels and of course, the magnificent food.  In addition, this time, a bonus (at least for John and I) was the fellow group members who were a delight.   The group dynamics was so special - not only did we get along well, but we developed special attachments so that saying good-bye was most definitely bittersweet.   When you said this type of experience is like summer camp for adults, you hit the nail on the head.  I also heard you mention on the …that you enjoyed hearing from all of us that we arrived home safely (and happy) and then you could visualize "sending us off" to resume our lives.  I totally understand that and I think we are very lucky to have someone who actually invests part of herself to the people you meet on a daily basis.  I know John and I have been blessed to know you.

There were many aspects of my tour with Pam and Sam that were special, and I note a few here.  Every place we went, whether a wonderful restaurant or a special shop, we were greeted like family.  It was clear that Sam and Pam have created wonderful relationships with some of the shop and restaurant owners, and as a result, we were the lucky beneficiaries! In every spot, at every turn, Pam and Sam ensured our trip was memorable, the sights magnificent, and the food outstanding.  I think their tour was the best I have been on and look forward to traveling with them again!
