The Best of Provence Tour Specifics

TOUR DATES:   July 2-10, 2024      

Cost: The land cost of the tour is $5,899 per person, based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for a supplementary charge of $976. Airfare is not included.

Accommodations: 6 nights lodging in a charming St. Rémy hotel, and 2 nights lodging in Aix-en-Provence. All rooms have ensuite baths. As always, we look for superior properties with ambiance and style, along with cordial, helpful staffs.

Meals: All breakfasts, one full-course meal daily, additional meals as scheduled. All meals…after breakfast!…include regional wines. We carefully choose the restaurants based on ambiance and quality of cuisine.

Wine Tastings: Scheduled tastings of various French wines (including small local producers and famous well-known producers).

Transport: All transfers during the tour will be on comfortable, air-conditioned buses.

Admissions: Entrance fees for all planned visits to monuments, galleries and museums are included.

Small, Intimate Group: We will be limiting the number of participants to a maximum of 16.  We need a minimum of 12 guests for a tour to run.

Early Arrival/ Late Stay Options: Depending on hotel availability you may be able to arrive early or stay after the end of the tour. We'll be happy to help you make these arrangements. For trip extensions of 2 nights or less, we provide planning assistance on a complimentary basis. For extensions of 3 nights or more, there is a nominal fee of $150 to assist with trip planning including booking hotels, guides, drivers, etc.

Arrival and Departure: On the tour start date, a transfer is included from the Marseille airport or the Avignon TGV station to our hotel in St. Remy. We will group all guests together within 90 minutes of arrival time as much as possible. On the final morning of the tour, there will be a shuttle at 9:00 am going to the Marseilles airport. If you require other transfer services upon arrival or to other destinations after the tour ends, transfers can be arranged through our travel partners for an additional fee.

Tour Exclusions: Airfare, hotel city tax (usually €2-5 per person, per night; payable onsite), and gratuities for your local guides, drivers and tour leaders. Tuscany Tours tips at all group meal restaurants.
