Where do we begin...

We could not have asked for a better honeymoon and we truly appreciate everything you did for us. With the weeks leading up to our wedding it was so wonderful having our trip to Italy prepared for us and we couldn't have done it without you!

Every hotel, every restaurant, every tour you planned for us was perfect and the people were extremely welcoming. Your recommendations made our trip! From the both of us, we just wanted to thank you for creating the most memorable trip of our lives.

We'll be calling you soon for our next trip. Tuscany here we come!

If you're looking to plan the trip to Tuscany of your dreams, send an e-mail to Pam Mercer and you'll be guaranteed one thing: a trip you will treasure for the rest of your life. I am a concierge at a hotel in United States, and I am well aware that the secret to providing memorable service is going above and beyond. Well, let me tell you-Pam just blew my mind with her trip-planning abilities.

The guides Pam chose for us were not good--they were EXTRAORDINARY. They were the KEY to us appreciating and discovering Tuscany in a way most people who visit all these towns never really experience.

Pam really will take of everything-it's like one-stop shopping. And I must say I was also impressed at how she took ownership of our trip-taking the time to track us down when we were on the trip almost every day to see how things were going as if we were a member of her own family. Who does this? Incredible. In a world where good customer service appears to becoming a thing of the past, Pam Mercer will renew your faith that, in fact, GREAT customer service is not dead. Take it from someone who put my entire trip in her hands-you can trust whatever she recommends. Do so, and you'll have a trip you'll never forget.

Pam and Sam-

You guys are the greatest; we enjoyed ourselves immensely, and most of that was due to your service. Tuscany Tours did an outstanding job for us on our trip to Italy, down to the nth degree. Timing of service, places to stay, "don't miss" things and places to see, guides, and even restaurant suggestions that we would never have found. We would be happy to serve as a reference: you cannot miss with Tuscany Tours.

I have traveled through much of Europe in my sixty-plus years, sometimes with professional guidance, but I have never had the experience enriched the way it was by Tuscany Tours. Pam Mercer and Sam Hilt are an incomparable team. Their blend of expertise provides the full gamut of travel highlights.

Pam's cultural and culinary itinerary provided access to history, beauty and tastes we would likely have missed. Sam, with unmatched knowledge of art, brought to life the works of Renaissance artists and craftsmen, guiding our attention to details we would not have seen.

To those desiring the richest possible appreciation of Italy, I say from heartfelt conviction: See it with Tuscany Tours.

I usually plan trips on my own, but when I began corresponding with Pam, having found her on a website, I realized she was very knowledgeable, so I decided to ask her help with planning our trip. For a very nominal fee she helped us so much! She recommended and booked hotels, restaurants and tours which we would never have discovered on our own--including the highlight of our trip--a wonderful castle in Tuscany!

Pam was knowledgeable, caring, and quickly responsive--she truly made our vacation special.

In October 2007 I had the wonderful opportunity to go back in time and tour the Tuscany region of Italy. Our large group of 13 women relied solely on Pam and her great organization to help us plan a trip that was truly memorable. We were able to see how the native Tuscan people lived, worked and enjoyed their lives.

We enjoyed the cuisine immensely and the winery tours Pam planned for us were a blast. I especially enjoyed our cooking class which took place in a wonderful old house, full of character (and I am not a great cook!). Tuscany Tours is extremely dependable and certainly fulfilled every dream I had. Our villa was comfortable, clean and lovely. Pam planned our transportation (we had our own driver and bus!). We didn't have to worry about getting in to the museum in Florence-it was all arranged ahead of time. I must say Tuscany Tours did everything they could possibly do to make this a trip of a lifetime. We even got to see the house of the author (Frances Mayes) of "Under the Tuscan Sun"-she actually said hello to all of us. She was lovely.

I would highly recommend Tuscany Tours to anyone interested in seeing the REAL Italy. Enjoy… it is a memory you will relive over and over.

Dear Pam and Sam:

It has been almost a year since we visited Italy, and we have not yet stopped enjoying and reliving our trip. Your assistance and support made the "self-guided trip" both easy and enjoyable. As you know, we traveled by train from Rome to Naples and Sorrento visiting Herculaneum and Pompeii. Then we headed north to Siena, Florence, Venice and Milan. The accommodations you arranged for us provided the perfect blend of adventure and security that we, as two independent senior travelers, wanted.

All of your recommendation for restaurants and tours were exceptional and saved us wasted time and possible disappointments that we might otherwise have encountered during our limited travel time. We squeezed a lot of highlights into our trip and especially enjoyed visiting with you and your family during our stay and the wonderful Easter Dinner in your home village. If you ever come up to Ukiah, please plan to be our house guests and we promise a wine tasting adventure of primo quality.

Your friends,
Craig and Sharon

Our trip to Italy with Tuscany Tours was absolutely fabulous. This was my first time to Italy and I hope not my last. Tuscany was more beautiful than anything I could have ever imagined. The historical sites and monuments were majestic. The food was delectable. It was so hard leaving the villa that I actually teared up. Pam and Sam and their staff were very welcoming, knowledgable and informative. They made us feel like we've known them forever. This is one trip I would do again and again.

First off, Tuscany tours and Pam Mercer deserve some kind of medal for putting this all together. Our hotels, guides, drivers and meal reservations could not have been better planned. The castle in Tuscany and the hotel in Positano were wonderful. We had a fantastic dinner with Pam and her husband, Sam, (what a great couple) at an equally terrific restaurant in a little town in Tuscany.

From Milano (attended an Opera at La Scala), to Verona, to Venice, to Modena, to Tuscany, to Siena and Cortona, to Roma, to Pompei and finally Positano, Amalfi, Ravello & Capri, we are a bit exhausted but "floored" by the experience. The information we absorbed, the sights we touched with our very souls have certainly changed Margie and me for the better, actually added to our life experience.

The people we met on this trip were some of the nicest human beings we have ever interacted with on our many trips, what more can I say but "Wow!!"
